Zeebrugge is one of Europe’s main fishing ports. The ‘European Fish Centre’ in the inner port is a vast complex for the supply, trade and processing of fresh fish. As a member of the ‘Pan European Fish Auctions’-network, the ‘Zeebrugs Visveiling’ offers wholesalers the possibility to participate in the electronic auctioning via the PEFA- network.

In this way they can actively take part in the fish auction via internet from their offices, where they get to see the same auction clock as in the auction hall.
